Check out is at 10:00 AM. If an early check in or late check out is desired, please contact us in advanced so that we can see if we can accommodate. Typically, we cannot confirm until the day before check in and in some cases even the day of. Additional charges may apply. If you need a very early check in or very late check out, we recommend booking an additional night. Feel free to reach out to discuss if needed.
Yes, the minimum age to rent is 30 years old. If younger than 30 please contact us to discuss.
For the comfort of all guests, pets are not permitted at Bald Eagle Lodge.
Events are not allowed without prior approval as there are many considerations we must consider such as our county licensing, insurance, wear and tear, assuring a good fit, etc. Commercial or event rates may differ from published rates and additional cleaning fees may apply. Please contact us for special arrangements and we will make every effort to host you if we can.
Inside the lodge and outside around the estate are 100% smoke-free. Given our mountainside location, there is a high forest fire danger and we do not allow smoking of any kind to assure the experience is protected for all guests and we meet insurance requirements. Smoking of any substances inside the lodge or outside on the property will result in guest fines and will make guests liable for any additional cleaning or property damage.

We officially have room for 4 in summer and 3 in winter. If you are hoping to accommodate more vehicles for some reason, please discuss with us in advance of booking so we can discuss the specifics.
Yes, both the private community road up the hill as well as our driveway are plowed on plow routes based on area conditions. If coming in winter, you need to have 4WD/AWD vehicles that are equipped for winter (studs or chains recommended) and be competent in driving in adverse weather conditions as plowing / sanding schedule may not align with your travel or ski schedule. If you have specific questions on how this works, please reach out.
Given the heavily forested environment and high fire risk, as well as our insurance policy, we do not allow any open flames or fireworks. Guests are welcome to use the gas firepit our tiki touches provided responsibly if there are no burn bans issued.

– Master Bedroom: King, with room for pack and play
– Main Floor Guest: Queen with room for pack and play or single air mattress/sleeping bag (one of each is provided for kids if needed)
– West Guest (ground floor): Queen
– East Guest (ground floor): Queen
– Bunk Room (ground floor next to East Guest): 4 Singles with adult rated mattresses
– Family Room (ground floor): Queen Crate and Barrel pull out with adult rated mattress, Queen Air Mattress and linens can be set up when ping pong table is folded up.
